Accessibility Statement
Our Commitment to Accessibility
Low Voltage Components is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We believe everyone deserves equal access to information and functionality, and we are continually improving the user experience for everyone by applying the relevant accessibility standards to lowvoltagecomponents.com (the “Site”).
That commitment extends to how we work. Much of what we install — voice and app control of lighting, shades, entertainment, door locks, and climate — can meaningfully improve independence and daily living at home. If accessibility is a goal for your project, tell us and we will design around it.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities. We also work to support the goals of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and California’s civil rights statutes as they apply to digital content.
We regularly review the Site and work toward full conformance. Some content may not yet fully meet every success criterion; where gaps exist, we are actively working to resolve them.
Measures We Take
To support accessibility, Low Voltage Components takes the following measures:
- Designing and developing with accessibility best practices and semantic HTML;
- Providing text alternatives for non-text content such as images;
- Maintaining sufficient color contrast and legible, resizable text;
- Ensuring the Site can be navigated using a keyboard and assistive technologies;
- Using clear, consistent navigation, headings, and link text;
- Labeling form fields and providing accessible error messages;
- Designing responsive layouts that adapt to different devices and zoom levels;
- Reviewing accessibility as part of our ongoing site maintenance.
Compatibility With Browsers & Assistive Technology
The Site is designed to be compatible with current versions of major web browsers and commonly used assistive technologies, including screen readers, screen magnifiers, and speech-recognition software. Because technology evolves, some features may work better with the most up-to-date software.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some limitations may exist. Third-party content and services embedded on the Site — including maps, video players, social-media widgets, and the automated spam-prevention challenge used on our contact form — are controlled by external providers and may not always be fully accessible. If a third-party element prevents you from reaching us or completing a request, you can always contact us directly by phone or email using the details below, and we will help you the same way we would through the Site.
If you encounter a barrier anywhere on the Site, please let us know so we can assist you and prioritize a fix.
We Want Your Feedback
If you experience any difficulty accessing any part of the Site, or if you have suggestions for improvement, please contact us. We welcome your feedback and will make reasonable efforts to provide the information, item, or transaction you seek through an accessible communication method or alternative means.

Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We regularly review new content and features, train our team, and update the Site to improve accessibility over time. This statement will be revised as our practices evolve.
